Before heading out of town this summer, condo homeowners should take a few important steps to ensure their unit remains safe, well-maintained, and trouble-free in their absence. Even while you're away, it's your responsibility to help prevent issues that could affect your home, neighbors, or the overall community.
– Set the thermostat to a reasonable temperature (e.g., 78–80°F) to prevent humidity issues.
– Empty trash and perishables from the fridge
– Let the property manager know you’ll be out of town, especially for extended trips, and consider having a trusted friend or family member check on your unit weekly.​​
